Parallel Dimensions

A way to describe the two material planes aside the Natural Universe, namely the Feywild and the Shadowfell. Also known as Echoes of the Universe.

Pantheon

The word has two uses. It is commonly used to refer to all gods that hold sway over a particular world, but scholars use it to describe a specific alliance of deities—often a divine family. Most such pantheons are helmed by a single god and populated by the deity’s Exarchs (examples include the Elven Seldarine, ruled by the deity Correllon Larethian and populated by his Exarchs; or Moradin’s Mordinsamman—the dwarven pantheon). There are however all-god pantheons such as the divine family that rules over the Astral Dominion known as Olympus or the Gods of the Dominion Asgard. Within a single world, more than one pantheon can be venerated by its people.

Outsiders

Aberrant creatures that hail from the Far Realm and have colonized our multiverse. Includes aboleths, ilithids, and beholders.

Outer Gods

Deities of the Far Realm. Only a few are known such as Yog-Sothoth and Azathoth. Their agendas appear to be inimical to the well being of all creatures of the Cosmos.

Origin

A given creature’s origin is used by scholars to summarize its place within the cosmology. The origins are: Aberrant, Elemental, Fey, Immortal, Natural, and Shadow.

Omniverse

Everything That Exists. An unfathomable expanse that encompasses all multiverses and realities. Scholars divided on whether or not it is theory or fact. Unknowable to even the Gods.

Nine Hells

Also known as Baator. A planet-sized (and planet-shaped) Astral Dominion home to the Fallen Angels known as Devils (or Baatezu as they call themselves) and their overlord: Asmodeus.
